MES has decided to establish a medical college at Perinthalmanna (www.mesmedicalcollege.com) in Malappuram district where 40 % of the total Muslim population in Kerala is inhabited. A plot of about 50 acres has been purchased and initial works are being started. A managing committee has been constituted with M.A Yoosuf Ali as the Chairman. It is proposed to select 5 non- retiring directors from the MES NRI members with special privileges. The MES medical college will be one of the best institutions of the millennium in India with international standards.
