The College is approved by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare New Delhi, Medical Council of India, Government of Kerala & affiliated to University of Calicut. The college conducts MBBS course of four and a half year duration followed by one-year compulsory residential rotatory internship. The annual intake of the college is 100.

MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram

MES started the first private self financing college in Kerala in the year 1994 and it was the birth of MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram situated on the banks of Bharatha puzha in Kerala. The college has emerged as a full-fledged technical institution offering as many as seven undergraduate courses and three post graduate courses in Thermal Systems (M Tech), Business Administration and Computer Application. Among the emerging technologies, Information Technology was given the full thrust and the college offers two B.Tech courses and one Master's Degree in Computer Applications. Electronics was another equally concentrated area and well competent courses were offered in that sector too. The annual student intake is 698 out of which 50 percent seats are reserved for muslim students.
