MES Central school, Tanur was established in 1992 with the aim of  not only educating the young ones but moulding  them  into good citizens.

 

Features and Facilities
The school spread over in 2.19 acres, having classes form LKG to 9^th standard has  364 students including 170 girls  and 194 boys. There are 26 teaching and 6 non-teaching staff. The school has a lab, library and computer lab. The institution is headed by Principal Mr.M.K.Ramachandran.

Achievements
The schools  has champions in MES State Meet (under 10).
